RESIN FORMULATIONS

 Waterborne resins:

• Pure Acrylic emulsions:  For top quality paints including high gloss architectural coatings, concrete floorings, exterior wood protection and anticorrosion systems as well as for plasters. They are produced by emulsion polymerization of acrylic monomers.

• Styrene-Acrylic emulsions: Rigid as well as flexible types without plasticizers. Special types for roof-coatings. Styrene-acrylic emulsions are thermoplastic binders for a variety of paints and plasters but also for flexographic printing inks and overprint varnishes. Their high pigment-binding capacity allows the use in highly pigmented formulations providing excellent hiding power. They are produced by emulsion polymerization of styrene and acrylic monomers.

• Vinyl-Veova emulsions: Top quality for matt and semi-glossy paints without superficial tack. The resulting emulsions produced with Vinyl-acetate and Veova are suitable for use in a variety of paint types ranging from interior matt paints to exterior and semi-gloss types. They have the potential to provide high pigment binding power, hardness, adhesion, and excellent water, alkali, and weathering resistance.

Solventborne resins:

• Acrylic Resins: Recommended to manufacture pigmented paints and clear top-coat varnishes as well as car repair systems and maintenance paints.
• Alkyd Resins: Short oil, medium oil and long oil alkyd resin for a variety of applications.
• Unsaturated Polyester Resins: Specific resins for car-putties and car repair in general.
